Botanical Name: Eremophila Mitchelli
Common Name: Buddha Wood Australian Essential Oil
Plant Parts: Bark
Extraction Method: Steam Distilled
Odour Profile: Woody, slightly malty oil, slightly sweet.
Application: Also known as ‘false SandalWood’ due to its fixative properties, woody base notes and key active components. However, the oil has a different aroma, rather sweet and honey-like at first drying down to subtle smoothe woody notes at the base.ย It is a thick, viscous, reddish-brown oil with antimicrobial properties that blends well with manuka oils,ย citrus, honey myrtle and other woody notes.
Caution: There are no known cautions for this oil but as with any essential oil avoid adding un-diluted oil directly to the skin. Patch test before use.
