Origin:ย Vitamin A Palmitate is classified as a synthetic vitamin as it goes through several steps of synthesis that use a mixture of both naturally derived (vegetable) and chemically synthesised materials. None of the ingredients are animal derived.
Background Information:ย Also called “The Normaliser”, Vitamin A Palmitate has attracted great interest in recent years as it is the active agent for treatment of aging skin in beauty care. Vitamin A promotes the enzyme activity in the skin. It thickens the epidermis and can regenerate skin prematurely aged by UV-radiation. This product can also assist in increasing the skin’s elasticity and the reversal of photodamage.
Appearance: Colourless to slightly yellow coloured to mobile liquid
Assay: Contains 1% Vitamin A Palmitate
Activity:ย Contains Vitamin A Palmitate 1.7 MIU/g
Odour: Characteristic (almost odourless)

- For Cold Process, add to the oil phase
- For Hot Process, add at cool down phase below 40ยฐC
CAUTIONS :ย
Avoid contact with the eyes. If you do get product in your eye, rinse thoroughly with cool water. Patch test prior to use. If irritation occurs discontinue to use the product.
